Cardian Matsu There’s a sort of haunting type of aura hanging over this HS release, combining a lot of atmospheric electronica as a base with some hip hop sampling sprinkled over top and underneath.

His approach is only made that much more interesting by a mastery of repetition with the snippets that he takes ahold of, arranging portions in ways that interweave and thread into themselves and each other.

I’ve been pleased with all his releases getting shots with labels recently and this one is no exception. Favorite track: Theme For Entombment.
